Vincent

| My first short film written, produced, directed, shot, and edited by me in 2023 |

What does it mean to be human, to be alive? What connects us to reality, to each other? Vincent transports us on a journey back and forth in time; grounded in nature and existential questioning. We are taken on a meditative journey through life and loss, exploring Vincent and Theo’s friendship, before and after a haunting accident.

THEO: “Me too. It’s so alive. All of it. Everything. It’s all so alive”

THEO": “I mean no, not really, but I guess we’ve all thought about it a little bit, right?”

VINCENT: “No I mean like, really thought about killing yourself.”

THEO: Oh, then no.”

THEO: “I didn’t even get hurt.”

AVA: “I know.”

THEO: “I wasn’t even paying attention. I was looking down… It’s so fucked. It’s so fucked that he was talking about that, right before.

AVA: “I know Theo-”

THEO: “Stop saying that.”

AVA: “Saying what-”

THEO: “Saying that you know. You don’t know...”

“...and how we can just sit in silence, because we don’t have to prove that we’re friends and that our time is worth spending together...”
