Shot in one week in January 2025, “Surprise” is currently in the final stages of post-production, and will be completed by March 2026. This short documentary explores the story of 18 year old Ntokozo "Surprise" Maphumulo, a rising South African surf prodigy known for incredible talent, determination, and success in junior competitions, making him a true inspiration in the world of surfing.
